Both midi out same clock when syned to the daw

Hi , probably a simple silly question

I haven't got the device yet , just about to order 1.

but if you connect the nome II via u sync and your daw /daw plug in.

Do you get the same clock out on both midi outs on the back of the unit , so 2 x midi ports same with the same clock......or only one midi port

The device is highly configurable and customizable, but yes by default you get MIDI Clock constantly running on both ports.
Then yo have 2 play buttons, one for each port, pressing them will send MIDI Start/Stop on the corresponding output.

Thanks for that

so when using u sync from the daw , when i press play / stop on the daw transport -

it auto sends clock to both midi outs ( you don't have to manually press play on the devices?)

Well again that is also configurable
This is done in the setting called A.PL (autoplay). Note that by default it is set to "OFF", which means the device will not send start/stop automatically when you press play in the DAW. See the PDF manual section 3.4
