nome II + Traktor Pro + Xone 96

Greetings everybody I am Nick and I am new here. I have a nome II (so glad I found you guys) on the way and was just wondering from the group or the admin’s if there’s been any successes/issues with the midi I/O on the Xone 96. I am looking to sync my DJ rig (Traktor 4, Xone 96) to a couple of elektron boxes mainly but also want to have reliable clock to sync to with others for jam sessions. I use the search engine to see if there had been any topics on Allen and Heath Xone 96 or Traktor and didn’t come up with anything but surely there are some of you out there . Any feedback at all would be appreciated! Great to be here. Thank you!

I had an allen and Heath's BD4 and did a hybrid dJ set with a DT and DN. The best and most reliable approach don't sync them to traktor and just dial in the BPM on the master Elektron box . I took this tip from other users as well with similar setups and doing it for about 10 years

I am sure Nome will be the best option if you I sit on syncing but it can't effectively be master in this setup. Meaning, you lose the vibe using clock vs pitch shift.

With the new firmware 5.0 but probably even more when 6.0 and the "Tempo Following" feature comes out (no ETA for now), we are really trying to make the Nome more attractive to the DJ community.

Thank you sharing your experience with me my friend. I am kind of "re-entering" the dj/production realm after a couple year hiatus (life happens), so I am catching up to newer technologies and options. Also recently purchased DTII and a DN (LOVETHEM!!) so I am exploring options to integrate them into a hybrid live setup. I am going to have plenty of uses for my Nome II when it here and I am sure DJ integration will continue to improve!
