If you can believe it I'm only just getting my Midronome updated from v0.1 now...
I understand the first step is updating the bootloader, and after a few failed attempts on my Mac I found the notice about the app not being compatible with macOS 15 or later (i'm on 15.5).
But now I'm trying on a Windows 10 system I have, and the Midronome gets to the "rdy" stage without issue, but no matter what USB port I use (on front, rear 2 clusters), the bootloader updater app then says there's no Midronome connected.
Have tried restarting, and every USB port. Device Manager sees an audio device connected called "Midronome Firmware update"
I'm looking for another old Mac to try with, but if there was any tips for Windows 10, that would be great!

Hey BigBen,
I was able to update the firmware on Windows 10, so this problem may be specific to your machine.
I'd suggest:
1. Deleting "Midronome Firmware update" from device manager and try going through the steps detailed here: https://simntonic.com/pages/upgrade-the ... bootloader.
2. Double checking the cables are firmly connected since the Midronome can draw power without actually being connected to the PC.
3. Trying on another machine.
Let me know if none of this works and we'll figure out a solution.
